Meet our founders. Each received a life-saving lung transplant at New York Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center. All experienced the very real chance of dying on a waiting list, and faced serious post-surgery obstacles–including the ongoing threat of organ rejection and infection, and the side effects of immunosuppressant medications.
Today, they are committed to raising money for research that will help others avoid these types of hardships. The team is advised by some of the best and brightest experts in the field– all of whom are dedicated to helping us achieve the goal of a better life for patients with advanced lung disease.
“We’re not stopping until rejection and infection are a thing of the past and everyone who needs a lung transplant gets one. Then we can breathe easy.”
